Shockwave Therapy

Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy is a form of treatment mainly used to treat very stubborn, chronic tendon conditions. A repeated physical impulse from the machine causes a very minor trauma eliciting a controlled inflammatory response within the injured tissue. The response stimulates a new healing cycle within the injured tissue. This is a very effective evidence based treatment method for such injuries like plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, achilles tendonopathies, etc.
